Christmas and New Years

Jake and I had a very Merry Christmas. We had my parents over and Jake's brother's family from Goodyear over. They all stayed the night Christmas Eve and then celebrated the day with us. We had a nice Christmas dinner around 4:30pm and finished the day playing games and watching movies.

Farewell old friend

Well... today is a sad day for Jake. He sold his "baby" diesel/veggie Mercedes and it was picked up today. It served us well. We took many trips out of state on veggie, which saved us A LOT of money. Jake has an old Dodge truck now which he also converted to veggie. It really helps us save money with Jake's long commute from Queen Creek to Phoenix everyday for work.

Jake was pulled over by the police a few times just out of curiosity from this sign in his back window. They wanted to know if this was for real and how it worked.
